Strong Bonds

Augustea Oceanbulk Maritime Ltd (AOM) stems from the partnership between two reputable shipping companies bound by a shared view of the dry bulk market and by a profound mutual respect. Augustea brought to the venture a legacy built in over 70 years and, particularly, an immaculate track record of successful business with Japanese shipyards of over 50 years.

With a focus on long-term chartering strategies, AOM has strengthened further partnerships with leading Japanese counterparts, like trading house Mitsui & Co. and shipowner Nissen Kaiun Group. Operating a fleet composed primarily of leased vessels, AOM has become a tonnage provider of choice for most of the main cargo companies operating globally in the dry bulk space.
